I taught preschool for 12 years before I went into Special Education. I read a lot of books to my kiddoes and the one thing I learned was which ones would get their attention and which ones wouldn't. Robert Munsch being one of my favorite authors. Thomas' Snowsuit and Love you Forever being a couple of the best ones, but several really good books that young kids just love. My Favorite Kids Books
